What do you think of prideful women?

I feel like I’m very prideful of my accomplishments and achievements, and sometimes subconsciously hold people to that standard.

I’m a perfectionist and sometimes I feel like I project that perfectionism outwards.

I’m a kind person and very polite, but I feel like deep inside me I judge people according to a “hierarchy” based on how accomplished/hardworking/successful they are.

Are all these things turn-offs in a woman?

It is normal and people do it all the time even if they are too ashamed to admit it.

It depends on the guy, their self-confidence, and their priorities in life. Just a warning, it is impossible to fool smart people all the time. Translation: your partner is most stable if they have the same "value" that society places on them.

Of course, there are weirdo like me that is not completely moored to social expectations, but I am part of the resented minority.

What I would do if I was a 18-24 year old girl: 1. Get the best schooling and social mobility that I can get (strive for it). 2. Find a guy that matches your "societal" profile. 3. Stabilize finances so you are at no one's mercy and use compounding interests to your advantage (become financially literate) [Optional] 4. Maybe see the flaws of society's logic and how to take advantage of other people's stupidity (when the emperor has no clothes)

5. Have kids at some point with the right person. Too many successful women never finding anyone has two options at mid 30s (fire sale for someone they would have never accepted at mid 20s or no kids possibly). When you are in your 80s and dying alone in a nursing home, I can bet you wish you had a family.

If you don't mind my asking, what grand achievements or amazing accomplishments have racked up in your 18-24 year life?

I mean more than people my age. I’m in medical school, was part of the Red Cross, raised a lot of money, and tutored refugee kids.

I unconsciously look down on people who waste their days and live a life of mediocrity without offering anything useful to society.

Completing medical school and becoming a doctor will be an impressive achievement, but until that actually happens, you're ambitious, but not accomplished. To put it in perspective, at your age I was studying engineer, but until I passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Examination and the Principles and Practice of Engineering Examination and became a licensed civil engineer, I was just another guy with a graduate degree. You sound like an ambitious young women, but you've got a long way to go before you can hold others to accomplishments which you still must achieve for yourself. I hope you do become a doctor!
