Not sure if she was my boyfriends side chick or second girlfriend?

I had found out about a month ago that my boyfriend, who I live with, had been talking to another girl. He worked with this girl. I saw a bunch of messages between the two of them and found out she had been to my home, in my bed. They had been on a date and he was planning more special events with her. I texted her and told her I was his girlfriend, she never responded. I told my boyfriend to block her and I thought that was that. Fast forward to yesterday morning. I got off of work early. I walk in the house, to the bedroom and she’s sitting on the bed, MY bed. She was dressed but he was in his underwear. I knew it was the same girl. I didn’t know what to think or do. I asked her how long they had been back talking or had they ever stopped talking and clearly they haven’t. It didn’t get out of control. I did call her “b****” and threatened to slap her but he wouldn’t allow us to actually fight or even touch each other. She just ended up leaving and I broke down crying and got aggressive with my boyfriend. I didn’t put him out. I just made him sleep in another room. It doesn’t help that today, a day after the incident I found out that he called and texted her apologizing about what happened. They took a shower together that same day, he told me part of the truth. It’s like he really cares about this girl or something. We live together, I have invested a lot and he seems to want the best of both worlds. What do I do?
