I avoid it as much as possible , but I have done it , and I know it’s stupid to do , I will usually just call and put whoever I am talking to on speaker, so I can talk and drive instead , in some states it’s against the law to text and drive or be on your phone driving as well , I heard they are some hefty fines , if you get busted , My friends’ in New Jersey crack me up when I am talking on the phone with them , while they are driving , when they see a cop , they throw there phone on the floor in the middle of the conversation , all I hear is the phone hitting the floor lol it cracks me up but I understand why they do so lol

I keep my phone in the bs k with my bag. It automatically connects with my car so I can use it for music or hands free phone calls. I’m a good driver but I know I can get distracted if given the opportunity.

Only at red lights, anytime you take your eyes off the road for a second seems like when something happens even when adjusting the radio which we did before texting, people do all sorts of things while driving besides being on the phone, I’ve seen, shaving, putting on makeup and eating while driving

No. I do not text and drive. Will use hands free blue tooth while driving. Only on incoming voice calls.
Just had a fatality near me. Car going northbound. Tractor trailer going southbound. Car dives under trailer just ahead of the tandems on the trailer. Guy was lying on the road when first responders arrived. DOA!
Witnesses said car was weaving before the collision.

To be honest I do even though I shouldn't but I do have my phone up on the dash on a mount when I'm doing it and I tap the microphone so I'm doing the talk to text feature that way my eyes can still be on the road and I'm not actually typing with my fingers

Nope. It's stupid, dangerous and illegal.. I won't even touch my phone in the car when I'm driving.. I have it set to auto answer via the Bluetooth stereo.

I am a first responder and I REGULARLY respond to 6-10 car accidents where one or more drivers was distracted. Aggravating AF, but it's the world we live in.

NO. If I am alone, I pull over if I can. If I can't, I don't talk on the phone. Simple. ( And my car DOES have the ability to voice dial, but it is still a detraction, nevertheless. ). If my wife/kids are in the car, they will do the dialing.

No I never do. I've got a dash cam which records front, back and inside my vehicle. If I'm ever in an accident they will have video proof that I was not touching my phone.
