How many kids could you have before your partner realised none looked like him?

There's nothing wrong with your partner, he's got a good job, plenty of money, tall, good looking, pretty much everything you want from a man. But if you want lots of kids it's best not to put all your eggs in one basket, you've got to sprinkle a little extra genetic material into the mix.

The problem is guys don't understand this and some get a little stroppy when a baby pops out and it's the wrong colour or doesn't have his nose.

But how observant is your partner? How diverse could your brood be before he got suspicious?

I do know a guy who thinks 2 of "his" 3 children are his but in fact only 1 is. They look like bitzers together and genetically unrelated which they indeed are on the paternal side. In his case, his wife could probably have as many as the woman in the pic before he got suspicious.

I have seen numbers of 30% in the US but it is hard to trust such because the guys probably had well grounded suspicions to demand testing. 'Oh 9 months ago she went on a girls weekend away'. Seems like it is 10% in Australia.

Fortunately DNA testing can be done during pregnancy now so if it is not yours you don't have to drive her to hospital any more. Or cater for cravings.

I'm a guy... and we are clueless. There was a study done several years ago, with women in London, and it found that many women have sex with a second guy to increase their chances of having a healthy child.

This is so stupid.. I have three daughters anyway my first born looked like me as a baby.. my second born looked like me as a baby now she looks more like her father I think.. my third born looks like my middle child when she was a baby which means she must look like me at the moment since my middle child did but she may change aswel when older to look like her father. My genes are pretty strong.

LOL this can't be serious, since you can get pregnant from one shot, unless the woman or the guy isn't very fertile, this should never be an issue. But I would assume if the kid didn't have any visual characteristics to the father or his family members I would say it would be very suspicious.

Well, nowadays, I’m pushing for legislation that will make it a mandatory requirement to have a paternity test done at child birth. So it takes the guessing right out of it.. we know and at that point, if it isn’t his, he can go ahead and handle the business
