Should I shoot my shot next time?

Earlier this morning I went to the grocery store and I asked this girl’s worker for an item that I was looking for.., and while answering she was very friendly and outgoing should I go back I hope to see her and shoot it?

Eh I don't know man, shooting your shot with a girl who's working doesn't always go over well. A few things to consider:

- She's being friendly cause it's her job, ya know? She has to be nice to customers. Doesn't necessarily mean she's interested.

- Working retail can be stressful, she's probably just trying to get through her shift without any added drama. Flirting with customers often causes issues.

- Other employees/managers might see it as unprofessional on her part if she engages with a customer that way. Could even get her in trouble.

I'd say maybe just smile and say hi again if you see her, but don't immediately ask her out right there. Maybe try to casually chat a few more times first so she recognizes you as just a friendly regular customer, not some random dude hitting on her while she's working.

Then after a while if you still get a good vibe, maybe pass her a note with your number saying you'd like to grab coffee sometime when she's off. But keep it low pressure since she's working. Nothing wrong with putting it out there respectfully! Just tread lightly with employee/customer situations.

No problem man, I've been there before! When you see a really cute girl you connect with even briefly, it's easy to keep thinking about her. Just don't put too much pressure on yourself over it either way - if it's meant to be, it'll happen naturally.

And who knows, maybe she thought you were cute too! Sometimes girls get shy about making the first move as much as guys do. Fingers crossed you get another chance to chat with her again. But even if not, at least take it as a fun little confidence boost. You'll be less worried about "shooting your shot" with the next girl!
