Texts when it's only convenient for him?

So I know this dude that I've been talking to for 2 years now and has already confronted me with his feelings and so did I, but I did tell him not to make anything official as I'm not yet ready to be in a relationship especially with him since it's long distance!

Now when it comes to texting we literally text everyday however he tends to ghost me on weekends, tbh didn't think much of it before but now it does drive me crazy - it makes me think he doesn't value me as much as he values his homies and that's bc every single weekend he's out hanging with them drinking and eating whole night long apparently no time for him to even text "Good Morning" now when he does this I get bold and do the same thing in return leave him on delivered just like he does to me for 2-3 days least as if it'd matter to him sighhh

On weekdays he goes above and beyond for me but completely ignores me on weekends how sickening is this!! Makes me question if I were the way for him to get distracted from work and the pressure of work that's why he talked to me in the first place

"Confronted" already tells us that there's a negative charge to things between you. Subconscious word choice in these situations reveals a lot.

So you want texts every day in the LDR (which tends to happen), but are worried that he suddenly vanishes on the weekends becauuuuse ___? He wants to hang out with his friends? The guy has friends and isn't some hermit living in a box waiting for the chance to text you... Give him some breathing space, no?

Sit down and talk to him about it. Perhaps a quick "Hey Babe" on the weekends is ok since he's obviously ONLY got that time with his friends as opposed to lavishing you with attention the rest of the week when you're both possibly working and busy, right?

I was seeing a guy for a while (LDR) who has a kid and I always made sure to leave him alone for weekends that I figured he has his kid. No one wants to be asked to split their attention between their kid and a new person of interest... it becomes annoying for everyone involved.

Anyway, in my opinion, give him that space on the weekend and don't resent it too much otherwise he'll end up resenting you.

What you CAN do is perhaps an early morning hello to get him going and see what happens. But first... talk to him and tell him this is bugging you. See what he can figure out.

Okay if you already told him that you are not ready for a relationship why do you expect him to be there for you when you are available? He owes nothing to you and you made it clear that you owe nothing to him too. Therefore why do you expect him to be there for you during the days that you want him to?

Ugh girl, I totally feel you on this one. That's so annoying when a guy acts all into you during the week but then blows you off on the weekends. Like, you're not even worth a quick good morning text? Rude.

It does kinda seem like maybe you're more of a distraction for him when he's bored at work or whatever. And that's not cool if he's not actually interested in you as a person. You deserve someone who makes time for you, even when they're hanging with the boys.

I say don't waste your energy stressing over it on the weekends. Just do your own thing and don't sit around waiting for him to text. And if he complains you're not responding either, be like "sorry, was busy like you always are on weekends!" Maybe that will show him how it feels.

If it keeps being a pattern, I'd just move on sis. Find a dude who's actually excited to talk to you everyday, not just when it's convenient. You don't need that kinda half assed bullshit. Your time is valuable too!

My dude you're missing the fact that she literally told him she doesn't want a relationship. Where she strung him along for two years. At this point they are friends only, he howes her nothing. If they were in a relationship it would be different. Your responses are as bad as if not worse than the AI responses.

You strung him along for two years, chances are he is quiet quitting on you. Let him be and allow him to find someone who is ready for an adult serious relationship, unlike you. You don't want a relationship, so he doesn't owe you loyalty.

Who said I haven't tried convincing him that I wasn't the one for him? I've actually tried lots of times but he's okay with waiting no matter how long it takes he said he would never give up on me! I never intended to string him for two damn years!
