My boyfriend says I stress him out and that's why he doesn't like to spend time with me. What should I say to this?

So I barely talk to my boyfriend anymore and when i talked to him about spending more time together and talking more, he told me i add more stress to his already stressed life, mind you i give him space, i barley talk to him, let alone see him. He told me that he doesn't like spending time with me anymore because i voice my concerns and talk about our future. We've been together for over a year, At first things were great! We talked and saw eachother every day, and spent the weekend together. he prioritized me, he even popped the question, a few weeks later things changed. He pulled back telling me he couldn't marry me, that he wasn't ready. (I have yet to meet his family) He was also about to deploy, He got very distant, but didn't want to end things, I told him what I needed, and he tried. We would video chat sleeping next to each other every night before deployment. During deployment, he always called we would talk for 30 to 40 min. Before he went to sleep. When he got back he spent the first week with me and was very communicative, but after that he would barley talk to me, telling me he needs space, which I was giving him, but he made sure he spent every weekend with me. A month later his grandfather passed, which was hard on him. Then a few weeks after his friends sister came up and invited my boyfriend to Canada with them. The night before they go they went to Tullys i was a little hurt he didn't invite me, so I'm the morning i mentioned it to him that i would have really liked to go and just asked why he didn't invite me. He told me i always ask these deep questions. so he goes to Canda, breaks up with me that weekend. We are back together now, have been for a while now, but barely seeing and talking to eachother
