Do men dislike women who dress up and wear more feminine clothes?

I’m 18 I’ve noticed a lot of guys my age like more casual or baggy styles on girls. This isn’t saying I don’t wear jeans but I’ve never been the type to wear baggypants, sweatpants, leggings, or large shirts. I dress girlish and femininely. I've been made fun of a but for the way I dress at times. I gravitate towards light colors and flowy silhouettes. T-shirts are fine but its not typical for me. Blouses, skirts, dresses, sometimes jeans etc are my go-to. I wouldn't say I'm super conservative or modest I just like to get dressed up and look pretty. I wonder with the rise of streetwear do guys still find more dress up less casual girls attractive?

I like  all  those outfits 😂  I don't know, I think guys will like any type of girl in any of those outfits. The chemistry just has to be there. It just has to be right. I think, if you’ve been made fun of, it has to do with some jealousy, insecurity, and immature crushing or simply trend following.  Anyone who LAUGHED at you  is CLOSED minded. Literally. Fashion has literally no limits. I think those who made fun of you were highschoolers, since you say 18, and maybe any relatives OR hopefully not, but some immature adults. The high schoolers are just immature people. Some exceptions like yourself, but all in all a handful of immaturity and then those who are mature still have to fine tune some things. I was mature in higschool but I had to fine tune a lot of things as well. It’s the sort of thing that happens with a bit more time. Cause we have to receive a lot more info and process more.  Otherwise, when you branch out and do things on your own… I swear to you, no one is going to be laughing at you for what you wear 🤷‍♀️. Literally your wardrobe is YOUR choice.  If those same people who laughed at you for merely choosing a type of style to wear, and they can yet watch people- CELEBS at the met gala for their crazy outfits, or love the celebs who wear them, then how are they NOT contradicting themselves? If they’re not unique and they’re just going to wear poor people clothes “ “ or dress like everyone else, then I don’t see how they’re showing who THEY are, any authenticity, creativity, or backbone. Wearing stuff just cause everyone else is wearing it… is kinda sad to me. Just wear what you want. 👍  End of the day sis, wear what you want. Whether YOU find it *comfortable* or YOU *enjoy* wearing it. Period. 🙅‍♀️💅💯🤙

If you decide to dress to impress others it always depends on the audience. Guys mature slower than girls so think of guys that are 18 actually are 16 in their heads (not everyone tho some of them are pretty mature and im talking about those that make fun of your style) you don't need to blend in that is fashion and PERSONAL style. Real and mature men appreciate more feminine style (in my experience). If it makes you happy and you like it best don't give a damn what otgerd think... you also don't like their style so...

Feminine and class for me.

Wear of course what you want to wear at home... I look like a tramp too at home... but putting some effort in while going out is desired. I do the same, I put my best clothes on (I love the clothes I am wearing in my profile picture)

The ex wore nothing else than trainers, leggings and a top... boring as hell; but she did that to spite me.

She is a pretty average woman, but can look really attractive. She did put effort in looking nice for me in the first few years, but then it all stopped (same as 'dating'/ going out).

She knew I would have loved it would she wear skirts, and occasionally pigtails... The only time she did that was 3 days before she broke up when she went to the Christmas party at work because my successor was there too.

That style is absolutely adorable. Soft, sensual and sexy, but classy and sophisticated. Not the least bit slutty or wanton. It makes you look clean, pure, well groomed, and very feminine. I can't imagine a guy not liking feminine.

Clothes like that show that you are happy, self-confident, and comfortable in you own skin. Not all girls can pull that off.
Baggy jeans and T-shirts are for self-conscious girls who want to cover up. But they can pretend that it's trendy.

I wonder if guys who aren't drawn to girls who dress like that are afraid that those girls are out of their league. Those guys are kids.
You will attract sophisticated guys who are worthy of you.

I find women the most attractive when they dress more feminine. Obviously most dresses and skirts would qualify but there are other looks that are fine too. I don't really care for that baggy style though.

Nothing says you can't wear jeans and wear tops and accessories that are feminine and style your hair in a feminine way. Girls do that all the time. You know the difference between a look that instantly says "feminine" and one that doesn't.

Young guys your age do not care about your clothes they care about your face and body. So if you wear tight clothes that they can see your body in of course they are gonna like you, but really you can wear anything as long as you are skinny and clean.

They don't dislike them, but they DO appreciate the more seemingly laid back and down-to-earth attitude suggested by more casual clothes. In humans, as in every sexually dimorphic species, the traits of the opposite sex are seen as attractive- but spending an hour listening to your girlfriend harp on about which of two different companies' version of "mocha almond latte brown" (which you couldn't tell apart if your life depended on it) can make you long for more of a tomboy.

That depends how you mean "like". Most guys don't really care how a woman dresses per se. I mean guys are attracted biologically to the female form. Of course we're going to notice anything that accentuates that. But it really depends on what the guys deems as her reason for doing so. She's liable to do the opposite of what she's trying to accomplish if the guy thinks she's doing it as bait. Also it depends what you mean by "feminine". "Feminine" does NOT equate to showing excessive skin (again see my "bait" comment). I like a nice sun dress on most women, I assume most guys do. But if she doesn't have a very good demeanor to go along with her dress than she comes off as nothing but a woman trying to bait a man.

The ones who go after the type you mentioned are usually college guys or those who are afraid of high maintenance looking women. I dress up all the time, even going to the park and get approached randomly but I am married lol. The baggy/plain/simple look hasn’t become more popular. It has always been that way ever since. Not many women have the confidence to wear eye catching outfit because you need to know how to tackle the crowd looking, staring, judging (positive or negative).

i don't know about them. but right now i prefer more feminine clothes because of my faith. its just that i am big and broke and boyish clothes are the only ones that fits. i tried to make it more feminine though like if i wear a loose t-shirt i would use pin on the very bottom and fold so that it would at least look a bit feminine. i am actually obese in size so wearing clothes is very hard for me. thankfully beauty is my passion so i have a lot of patience

I like third and fourth on my girlfriend.  If someone got stunning sexy attractive gorgeous body then wear it revealing skin exposure outfits publicly. My girlfriend casually wear micro figure hugging tight fitting hipster pearls white denim shorts with micro loose tanktop or cropped top without bra on alongside baseball caps.  In the evening micro pleated warped skirts and tube or waistcoat with no bra.

Look. Point blank people will judge you no matter what you do. If you’re not bothering then they shouldn’t bother you.

Dress how you like and it’s good to change the style up sometimes. It’s like food like yeah Mexican food is great but you get tired of it after a while.

You look good it’s just people who need to feel better about themselves. When you are your true self yeah some people aren’t going to like you. But you’ll attract who genuinely likes you.

I'll let you in on a little secret: We don't really care all that much about your clothes. Just get your body as smoking hot as you can. What you look like naked is what REALLY matters to a guy. If you succeed at that he's going to be picturing you naked anyway regardless of what you wear. THAT should be your goal!
