Why would a guy be upset about a woman who works?

Do men expect women to sit around and wait on them to provide? Most of us have to run our households why would I give a man financial leverage and submission when most of the men are asking for 50/50 and or can barely support themselves less more me? We're not in the 1950s... I'm not talking about women and men who are not exclusively dating.. I'm talking about men who are just meeting women and want to control their lives, finances, and careers without wedding rings and no expectations in place within the relationship
