Did he reject me?

Hey everyone,

I’d love to get your thoughts on a situation I’m dealing with. I’ve been trying to connect with a guy, let’s call him X. Here’s a quick overview:

- I approached X a couple of times. The first time we talked, it went well, and he seemed engaged.
- The second time, when I approached him, he was on the phone ( I didn’t notice he was on the phone ) so I said hi, he responded with a hi back. I then sat close to him and waited for him to finish his call while scrolling on my phone. After about a minute, he moved away to continue his call elsewhere.

I felt hurt because it took a lot of courage for me to approach him. Do you think this was a rejection? Should I try approaching him again, or should I give him space to approach me on his own?

I’d really appreciate your advice on what to do next.

i think there could be some rejection just talk with him and ask him how he feels about you but not like directly saying it but indirectly saying it like for example invite him over and ask to talk urgently and then talk to him and he will tell u how he feels. good luck

It wasn't a rejection but it's really annoying when someone invades your space when your on the phone.
