What is cheating to you?

Like if your in a relationship. Is liking pics cheating, or talking to other girls/guys? Flirting , can't think of anymore besides the obvious sleeping with someone else.

Cheating is breaking a promise or betraying trust (trust that could reasonably be expected of a person). So if you are dating someone and you KNOW they think you're exclusive and you let them believe that then it is a form of cheating if you get with someone else. But of course when you first start dating someone there's a period of time where you both are just testing the waters. That's a huge grey area but if you go running around with others and rubbing it in the face of your date it's going to kill any ability to build trust.

If you know the other person believes flirting is cheating and you flirt.. you're cheating. Even if you want to argue that it's not a big deal. So you see, it's not all about what YOU think. Now some people want to get upset and talk about all the things they don't think are cheating and how they have a right to be free but.. they also have the right to go find another 'friend' instead of being a self-centered whiner causing the other person pain. A relationship is two people not just 1. You lose some freedom when you get into a relationship. If you have the same freedom as when you're single then you're actually a single person pretending to be in a relationship (probably to exploit the other person).

Sorry for the delay.. been away. Similar to the flirting example, it is if the other person believes it is. Otherwise not. And I can imagine that person A could like pictures and be harmless about it, while person B could like pictures and be sneakily trying to cozy up to people they can physically/emotionally cheat with or mentally getting themselves ready for that.

I guess a lot of it is just perception. Somebody who NEVER physically or emotionally cheats could do all the red flags of being a cheater yet still not cheat. Bu they would still wreck the relationship if the other person can't trust them.

I don't think liking pics is cheating, but I don't think its a good thing to do. Since essentially you are giving a bimbo an ego boost and a chance to hit you up or start something. Like guys looking at chicks I think is fine, but taking that extra step to like it.. its kind of like there is no need for that.
