Talking or flirting with other people with the intention of sex or dating, while already in a committed relationship or marriage with someone, either behind their back or in open with them knowing. And yes, cheating does include polyamory, "open relationships," and the dumbass term "ethical non monogamy," which is just a pretentious way of saying "cheating."

I've never cheated on anyone in my entire life, and I've only been cheated on once (her boyfriend was the cuck and I knew nothing of him cause he lived in another state), but I still think cheating is pretty scummy. If you hate the other person that much, just break up with them.

emotional/sexual cheating and flirting with the potential of cheating. in other words: falling in love, having sex, kissing, etc with another person would be cheating but also flirting, dating apps, socializing mostly or only with people of their preferred sex (mostly if there's a closer than usual relationship, because otherwise they're allowed to have friends).

Doesn't matter what it is, if they can't be open and honest with their partner about it, then it is cheating.

This allows for a lot of flexibility though when you think about it. One person may be okay with something and its not cheating but another may not be, therefore it is cheating.

Anything that you feel you have to hide from your partner, it doesn't have to be sexual either. Even emotionally cheating can be detrimental to your relationship, if you care for you partner or ever have at least have the decency to break things off before you cheat and possibly destroy them. I mean this in general, but cheating can really throw a person off for a long time especially if they have a weaker mindset.

Anything that is dishonest, either expressed or not, I consider cheating: talking to women you know you’re into, preferring the company of another woman you’re into (physically, mentally, or emotionally), sex, kissing, giving time or just entertaining another woman who’s into you, in a relationship yet on a dating app, etc

I'd consider that it is an end of whatever it is. You may not be cheating at his moment but it is an explicit statement of intention. I wouldn't consider it worth talking about.
