My personal definition of cheating would be split into 2 categories:

1. Physical cheating:

Fornicating with another person than the one you are in a relationship with and without that person's explicit consent, either verbal or in written. Assumptions do not qualify as a consent.

Body manipulations to induces those pathetic spasms and muscular contractions, again, without the knowledge and approval of the partner in question.

Watching pornographic content of any kind even with the consent of the partner since those that watch those deviant and perverted clips are aware that most people featured in those visuals have been coerced, forced or in any other way "motivated", most probably against their will to perform. It is also a direct endorsement that it is okay to objectify and sexualize women.

2. Emotional cheating:

Emotional cheating consists of fantasizing over a person other than your own partner.

Having lewd thoughts about another person than the one you are currently in a relationship with.

Watching deviant pornographic/sexual content without the approval of your partner.

Body manipulations, again without the knowledge and/or approval of your partner.

Anything sexual that could be detrimental to your relation and that is purposedly kept away from the partner.

Those are only a few acts that I consider to be cheating.

Is a partner. Thinking that there are smarter than you and is selfish. They do there thing and come home and act as if they love you like no other day in day out.. and then they get cought. It's one thing that they cheated and it's another coming home and playing you every night. Cheating to me is having a relationship with someone. Else while together.. when all they had to do was say see yah. Then do it

Well there is a major thing called intentions so there is a major gray area that can be hard to determine. But anything sexual or romantic would constitute cheating.

Cheating is going on even a platonic date with someone else after being in a relationship. It doesn't matter if you used to be friends as kids you don't go out alone with another men/woman if your SO does not give you the ok first. Emotional cheating is also a thing.

If you're giving someone else more attention than your SO that's a problem. If you're telling someone else things you don't tell your SO and you do things with something else, you don't do with your partner that means you're closer to them than the person you're dating. Cheating is a lot broader than people want to admit, but it's still cheating.

If you're in a relationship that person is supposed to be your partner, you trust completely. If there are things you can't tell your SO that you will tell someone else that's a problem. With really personal things like that once you're together the only people you should be telling some of those kinds of things to are family, your therapist and your SO.

When you're in a relationship you're supposed to be partners so the first person you're supposed to turn to when you need help is them. That's what partner means "I always have your back, and you always have mine no matter what."

if you're in an open relationship, as I am, the only way you can cheat is if you violate the terms of your arrangements. In a monogamous relationship, there are many assumptions that are never discussed among the partners, and you find out later when you color outside the lines! LOL
