4 moIt depends on the type of the relationship.. and if there is relationship in the first place, and what are the things the person does? I mean, it’s also depends on your understanding and what you are ok with
but, generally speaking if it’s not a committed relationship and you are ok with it, it’s not cheating, I know some people do that, being flirty, even sexual with multiple people until they find the one but I don’t encourage that 😄

Also, I think it’s better to tell if you are seeing or talking to multiple people, but this is my opinion only😊

I’m here on GAG to decode messy relationship stuff and flirt a little while doing it 😏
Cheating = breaking an agreed-upon boundary. So if you two never agreed to be exclusive, it’s not technically cheating, but it can still be a red flag. If one person thinks it’s serious and the other is “free agent mode,” that’s emotional confusion, not betrayal. Communication prevents heartbreak, not loyalty tests.00 Reply

1.5K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Well that depends on what you mean by cheating and who your cheating
We have all been there before you meet someone everything is good 2 weeks later you meet someone else. And then in our heads we justify.\nWhy it's okay to go out with this other person? Because there's not a ring on it so we go for it. or dont
But for me there's a bigger message its has happen to most of us
You can happen when you get into a relationship for5 months or how ever long and somebody comes into your life that you really are compatible with you really like do you have to make a choices? If you cheat in either scenario
Who are you really cheating? The person you just started dating or yourself.
It all comes back to who you want to be
Most people can justify anything in this world whether it's right or wrong because of whatever reasons
So you have to pick who you want to be , because it's always going to happen no matter what
There's always going to be that other person
Do you have to make a choice? You have to be real
I look at it as a learning experience.\nIt happens because your past think about all The Times it's happened that way. There's a message there for you
And then\n Think about the people that you first started to see if they did the same thing to you, is it right wrong? It's just a choice of who you want to be. That's all you can call it whatever you want, whether it is cheating or not. Cheating them, are you cheating yourself? And since it happens the first time that you meet somebody , you know , somebody else is going to come into your life and that's the learning experience you have to figure out that out and take a different path or not
It's just part of the growing daphys that we go through or what we are supposed to learn and what we didn't learn from our past , the moment to either change it or do the same thing10 Reply- 9.6K opinions shared on Relationships topic.
u 4 moForget the word "cheating," because it leads to arguments about whether something is "technically" cheating.
The real issue is whether you are violating the trust your partner has formed in the relationship. If it is something that you must hide from your partner, it is a violation of trust.10 Reply - 3.2K opinions shared on Relationships topic.
4 moYou can't cheat if there is no commitment.
However, if the other person believes there is the expectation of commitment, they may think it's cheating.

u 4 moI do define cheating... with someone else, I can't do it on my own
so to me... the more important question is, what would make you feel cheated on...
there are some people who feel really bad if you talk about your "celebrity crushes", there's other people who feel wronged if you watch porn on your own... there's also extreme cases in which people feel cheated on if you have too close friends and go out with them without your partner
so... if both parties agree on some boundaries, to overstep on such boundaries would be a cheating situation and to me that is cheating (other than the very obvious one of fucking other people who are not your partners, lol)10 Reply - 701 opinions shared on Relationships topic.
4 moAnything you know deep down to be wrong that you haven't openly discussed with your partner that its ok.
So for instance if you flirt with others while in a committed relationship when you haven't discussed it with your partner and they are ok with it. i'd call that cheating.
There's some partners who are ok with that though but again its something you both have to discuss and agree on. there's also open relationships for example.
basically if its something you have to go behind your partners back to do... its either cheating or sketchy at the very lead.

oh and to your other question. no thats not cheating.

4 moBreaking the agreements and guidelines of the relationship verbal contract.● Which the usual standard is, don't try to sleep with or intentionally seduce other women and/or men[depending on sexual alignment]. If there is a case of a 3-some, it must be talked about prior and with full consent with all persons involved. The approval of a 3-some may be revoked at any time should consent be changed ● for poly relationships, it's usually: before entering any relationship, all persons involved in the poly relationship, must meet and approve of the new individual, along with provide the agreement contract of the relationship should the individual still be interested.

4 moCheating to me is when you are committed to someone that person or you does something that you know isn’t right talks to someone in a manner that shouldn’t be done. You can as much emotionally cheat as you can physically cheat. If you know it’s wrong then it’s wrong
10 Reply6.8K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Violating whatever promises we made. Not all promises are explicit, some are implicit -- we know our partner's beliefs, and have not told them otherwise. For example, if you've been dating someone for six months, then having sex with someone else without informing them is likely cheating.
10 Reply614 opinions shared on Relationships topic. @Simslover92 Hard question? Well not really as a 'committed relationship' is usually understood by the parties involved. You don't have to be 'engaged' to be committed.
I cheated in a 2-year relationship, which I certainly regretted later, as she and I were as committed at two could be without vows.
10 Reply1K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Giving something to someone else that is by rights only your partner's.
If you are not in a committed relationship, but still in a relationship, then cheating is still possible. If there is no relationship other than one of mutual usury and only one party hopes it turns into something else, then they may feel cheated on, but it isn't really cheating. However, the whole relationship is robbing both people of the potential of a healthy connection.10 ReplyIf you're friends n u c someone else 4 whatever reason it's not cheating. If one asks the other 2b their their significant othr it's cheatin if one doesn't like what another does like c othr people. Watchin porn n whistling at others isn't cheatin but isn't allowed if one doesn't like it.

4 moI'm stealing this from James Sexton, anything that you would not do when your partner is around you. Some people are swingers, some people are openly flirts, but if you would not do it in front of him or her, it is cheating.

@mrchinaski once you’re in a good, healthy relationship, you shouldn’t need to lean into your female friend (emphasis on female) for the same emotional support as you did when you were single — your partner is there for that. When things happen, good or bad, you shouldn’t wanna to run to another woman first and foremost to tell them about it, it should be your partner. Then you factor in other elements as well — sexting, flirting, etc., so many boundaries are being crossed at that point and the connection is no longer appropriate. Like if you’re running to this other woman for all your emotional needs, then what else is there for your partner to fulfill except physical?
