Trending & News No, I wouldn't
I find people who have Down Syndrome absolutely marvellous people; I will not avoid nor ignore someone who has Down Syndrome. I fully support them having relationships, including having children, with other people who have Down Syndrome.
The reasons why I have said 'no' simply comes down to the fact that people who have Down Syndrome are vulnerable people and thus can be easily exploited. Any kind of relationship with someone who has Down Syndrome will be hugely imbalanced.
It is that I am not capable to look after someone due to massive Mental Health Problems; but would I be able to do that, I would dearly love to adopt or foster a child with Down Syndrome. I know I can raise a child which isn't biologically mine; I have done that before.
Only in the cases it's unnoticeable.
There was a girl who didn't know she was until she was about 16 and she was cute, some don't really show the fact until researched later on. And they live pretty normally.
