It depends what manifestations the depression produces and how long it lasts.

I have bipolar outbreaks that can result in depression but if treated quickly will not really cause any serious issues.

Some depression can last for days or weeks and I would not want to have to deal with that so much with a partner with no ending in sight, no.

Yes, and for a simple reason only, I also experienced enormous depression that led me to a suesidel thoughts, but praise Jesus I got out of it and I would be able to help her out too.

I'd prefer not to. I've had very negative experiences dating men with depression. Neither managed it, tbf, but I don't think it's something I can tolerate too well when it's managed.

I've got Anxiety, and would rather date another anxious person. I manage my mental health and would only want to date folks who are able to manage their mental health.

if i met them depressed probably not unless its lowkey. if i met them and they were normal and then they got depressed, i'd stay with them. but if they are severely depressed and they dont want to fix their situation and they've been like that for a long time i might want out at some point ngl

I wouldn’t exclude someone solely because they suffer from depression but as someone who struggles with seasonal depression, it would be tough if we were both going through it!
