My boyfriend liked another girl’s story?

So I deleted my instagram account and was using my boyfriend’s instagram account. there’s this girl who has a crush on my boyfriend while i was scrolling through instagram i randomly saw her page they both are following each other i stalked her profile highlight and found out my boyfriend has been liking her stories and i looked at the dates the stories was posted and it was after i started using his account. should i be worried?

Thanks for the response. I asked him about this and his response was he did it on purpose while we were in a fight so that she would start a convo in insta and since i am also using his account i will see it and to make me jealous

Ooof girl, this situation ain't it. The fact that he purposely liked her stuff during a fight just to try and make you jealous is really manipulative and immature. That's not how you treat someone you care about.

I know he said it was just to start a convo so you'd see, but come on - we both know any interaction with another girl who has a crush on him is going to upset you. He had to know that. He caused drama on purpose, even if it was just during a fight. That's shady behavior.

Honestly I wouldn't feel fully comfortable if I were you either. I'd worry he'd pull something like that again the next time y'all argue. And him offering to unfollow her now is kinda like too little too late, you know? I feel like he lost some trust here.

If it were me, I'd have a serious talk about boundaries and being loyal, even when things aren't great between you two. Let him know that kind of petty game-playing isn't okay. He has been so busy for the past couple days looking for a job so that i can introduce him to my family and whenever i ask him about this incident his reply be like its just a couple of likes and this is not the right time for such petty fights and he reassured me he never had any feelings for that girl and i am the one who is over reacting

Ugh, he's still making excuses and kinda dismissing your feelings about this, which is not cool! Look, a couple likes here and there might not seem like a big deal to him. But his behavior really hurt you and broke your trust. As your boyfriend, he needs to understand that.

I don't know what the point of deleting your Instagram was if you’re still going to use it lol in any case I don't know if it’s anything to worry about. I personally don’t see much behind social media likes yet seem to constantly bump heads with younger people about how much value likes have. To me, it’s something in passing you do on social media, yet for a gen z it determines how much the person does or doesn’t like you.
