So, I just broke up with my girlfriend of three years yesterday. We were having a nice day in the park, and then we started talking about one of our friends who cheated on her boyfriend with a black man. She said it was okay because he treated her well and also mentioned that black men are nicer, more fashionable, and started going on about how they are good at everything and the best. Not gonna lie, I felt bad about it and asked her why she started dating me, a white guy, if she preferred them. I told her to break up with me and date her preferred guys because I can't date someone who thinks I'm just not good enough for them. I left her there crying, but now I feel bad because I said some harsh words to her and left her.

I don't know if I'm insecure or what, but if I preferred Asians or Blacks, I would try to date them, not date a white woman and tell her I prefer Asians or Blacks. It feels disrespectful.

Not even from this day she showed some signs before, but I was refusing to believe it. For example, she follows a well-known soccer player on Real Madrid and always talks about him. I thought it was okay, just like when im also a fan someone , but now looking back at everything, I realize I was blind. What I don't understand is why she stayed with me all this time.
