So my boyfriend drove 9 hours today to see me. I told him yesterday before he left that I wouldn't be able to see him till 1 or 2 pm. He's here now and it's 634 am. I told him we would have to wait till later because I'm going to be busy till afternoon.

He understood and I guess is going to try and sleep and try to check into the hotel.

He drove early to avoid traffic and everything. I am very excited to see him, I just hope I don't look like I'm not excited to see him.

Cause I told him yesterday. But he still decided to come early. Which is fine.

Am I being an asshole?

No. You're not being an asshole at all. I don't think your boyfriend is going to think anything negative either. You told him you weren't free until later. He came earlier because of traffic. He understands that you're not free until later. He should be totally fine with that. You really don't need to worry about this. You're totally fine. Not an asshole at all.

nah not your fault, this is normal and just happens to everyone. Every person has unexpected changes and has to reschedule
