What are some signs that a man or woman isn't mature enough for a relationship?

Depends on the relationship. The maturity needed for a husband versus a lover versus a boyfriend are all different. If a person has multiples, maturity in such case would have to mean that the partners acknowledge there are multiples and can keep decent, such as, not seeking to harm the other partners to usurp or otherwise covet after another for a relationship that would otherwise not work out. For example, a boyfriend might want to take the place of a husband but he might be capable of actually fulfilling the duties of a husband. There is lack of understanding and many such entitlements for roles within another's life that the other simply is either unqualified for or else would make indecent a situation.

For example, if a woman has a lover who spends all his monies for whatever reason on a dime, then it is likely that he would not make for a good husband. A husband on the other hand might not be capable of having much a high sex drive that a lover could have. A domestic partner might sit in-between both spending a bit more for the family but is more so conservative with spending and might have a moderate sex drive. So, you see, every person has their maturity level defined by function and position.

Now, if we're talking about 1 man being husband and the only person then that would mean a man who had good money management, (practical) domestic, and (bonding) romantic skills.

Which requires the person not to have an attachment disorder, habit or impulse spending, and slovenly and neglectful attitude inside a residence. Let's face it, not everybody can cut the mustard but they cut part of the cake.

These are primary roles. We don't speak of the additive parental partner, which most often is the domestic partner but not always; that too, can be a completely separate thing. Not all marriage partners can parent and not all cohabitating partners can, either.

We often see an overlap between possibilities, so a man could certainly be a marriage partner and domestic partner but not a parental partner.

Sometimes, in such situations, relatives or others might fill in for domestic duties so that the person can juggle both parental and domestic duties.

This isn't to say that they can't grow skills and make room for the ability to build on these other partnership aspects. Only, that it takes considerable time, effort, and energy to do so, and not everybody has that with their work and other obligations. Some professionals are better off just as marriage partners rather than living with a person and raising children.

Not being able to compromise. Wanting to hang out with his mates all the time. Not having any goals for the future or desire to better his life and expect you to take care of everything. Such a man is probably only in a relationship looking for a substitute mummy more than partner!

If they always play manipulative mind games of any sort, if they act childish and have petty demands. If they always talk about physical needs etc
