I think so.

I don't think men see chemistry in the same way women do, to be honest. But I would like to be proven wrong if the opportunity presents itself.

Men can have great conversations with an attractive woman, but if she's not very attractive to him (in his eyes), there won't be chemistry.

Women, on the other hand, if they find the conversation is great, the guy is moderately cute, there will be chemistry.

There was a guy who told me he felt lots of chemistry between us but I told him that’s probably just on his side bc he wasn’t letting me get to know him so I wasn’t feeling it….


If you’re not sharing or open with someone you’re not going to spark that sense of chemistry within them, which comes from sharing and being honest/open/vulnerable.

Yup, I am quite socially inept - no secret there. But yes, this makes sense. I can be quite closed off. It is a struggle.
How do I get to be more open, how do I feel safe doing that with someone new?

No, it means he just doesn't find her personality compatible with his. Believe it or not, men care about personality more than looks, though most still value both. Tbh, there's actually a bigger percentage of women who go after guys with crappy personalities like "bad boys" players or douchebags that they're attracted to than the other way around.
