1 yWell…. There’s a few reasons. Number one. He looses interest there’s a number of reasons why he would which I will get to later.
Another reason is she’s taken, if she has a boyfriend, husband, etc. Then if he’s a decent human being he’s gonna back off. Also, if he’s taken. If he has a girlfriend, wife, the list goes on he’s going to back off as well, if he’s a decent person.
Why would a man loose interest? There’s TONS of reasons. I’m sure there are guys that you have lost interest in before as well.
One reason is that another woman catches his attention, another reason is that once he gets to know you he figures out that you’re not compatible with him, other times it could be a personality thing maybe he likes you as a friend but you’re not someone he would want to be romantically with. The list goes on. Maybe it was a attraction that came and gone Sometimes that happens to me where I find someone attractive but the feelings pass
Another possible reason is that he’s not ready for something else at the time. Maybe he finds you attractive but he isn’t ready for something.
Another reason. You’re too big of a risk… If he thinks that acting on his feelings for you has too high of a risk. He may opt to friend zone you. Every person is different as who they see as risky all the way up to off limits. It could be for example. You’re his best friends sister. If things go wrong…. Is it worth it? Another example is his sisters best friend. Is the risk worth it? The risk of being rejected. How awkward it would be. Embarrassing. Especially when you’re gonna see this person a lot. It could make his sister/best friend angry.
There’s also the risk of things go rigjt at first. You get together. But there’s a nasty breakup. What could go wrong? A lot…

Also, for me personally. If there’s someone who is risky. Me acting on it depends.
If I just think she’s amazing. We have so much in common. She’s so sweet and oh my gosh she’s perfect for me. Probably….
If I just think she’s hot. I may wait a bit to see if it’s worth it or not

My guess would be , he has low self esteem about himself and he probably feels she is out of his league and feels she wouldn’t stay loyal and faithful to him , since he considers her very attractive. Most guys’ are territorial over a girl he really likes , so he is probably assuming she would eventually leave him for someone else. I knew a guy that only got into relationships with beautiful girls’ , girls’ that received a lot of attention from other men as well. Every one of those girls’ ended up cheating on him with another guy that she felt was better than him , so eventually he decided to only date girls ‘ that weren’t out of his league , and now he is happily married to a girl that stays loyal to him.

2. Some folks don't want to stir up a mess at work, so anyone from the office is friendzoned by default.
3. Some folks find a person intellectually stimulating but not necessarily attractive enough to date (OR attractive enough but not smart enough to date) and so they friendzone these individuals.17 Reply- 1 y
My guy friend keeps calling me special, very smart and beautiful and his favorite person. He tried to kiss me once but now claims he doesn’t have romantic feelings for me

1 yI have never heard of a guy doing that if he really likes the girl and finds her attractive. In your case, I think your friend kind of likes you but not that much and doesn’t want to risk your friendship by dating you in case the relationship goes badly.

He really likes me he told me several times

Then ask him straight up why if he likes you so much is he friendzoning you. I bet he gives you an answer similar to mine.
Also bear in mind that like can mean friend like

00 Reply Men may friendzone women they like and find attractive for several reasons. Fear of rejection or ruining the existing friendship can make them hesitant to express romantic feelings. They might also believe the woman isn't interested in them romantically, leading them to avoid taking the risk. Additionally, some men may feel insecure about their ability to maintain a romantic relationship or worry about external factors like timing or life circumstances. By keeping the relationship in the friend zone, they preserve the connection without facing potential rejection or complications that could arise from pursuing something more.

1 yIt's a lot easier to talk to a woman if you friend zone them first. It takes all the pressure off. It also is a way to build interest. If you're wondering what the guy is thinking, you're letting him live rent free in your head and you're trying to figure him out. For some reason women are attracted to mystery and it's just one way of building mystery.
Or he's just shy or weighing the pros and cons and not doing it on purpose lol13 Reply- 1 y
When is the right time to turn her from friend to girlfriend?
- 1 y
Hmmm. Some women, like me, prefer to be the mysterious one. lol

It's definitely better if you don't over share at the beginning. More mystery and less history or you'll chase them away
1.6K opinions shared on Dating topic. I think its cause both men and women simply stink at communication. Most 20 year olds and even 30 year olds are socially awkward the result most don't know how to communicate anyways. The result of this causation is the friendzone just got deeper.
00 Reply2.1K opinions shared on Dating topic. Because they are useful, but not relationship material.
I have a few female friends who would kill their own partners to have my babies. But I know their usefulness as friends would be diminished with a closer relationship.
It's not "evil" it just means that I don't want to fuck us both up, over your infatuation.
00 Reply18.1K opinions shared on Dating topic. There are no friend zones. There are just those socially awkward people versus the really confident ones.
20 Reply565 opinions shared on Dating topic. They might like another girl more or just don't see themselves in a relationship with that girl. Guys know how to differentiate lust from love more easily than women.
10 ReplyI don't know if friendzone is the correct word, but the reason why many men won't date a woman they are attracted to is these days is because many guys have gotten involved with a similar woman and it turned into a nightmare.

Usually it's like, "i'll reject them before they can to have the upper hand". But men don't usually friendzone girls they find attractive.

1 yI have never heard the term friend zone used in a guy to girl circumstsnce ever until now. Friend zone really has no purpose. It's just people using each other with a great social party people name.
00 ReplyVersus not being friendly with them? So I get along with women of kinds, some are coworkers at different facilities, some are older, younger, married, single, who knows. If they're fun and interesting to talk to them why not have a laugh?
00 Reply324 opinions shared on Dating topic. Because they can tell she only sees them as a friend, so why not just grant her wish and keep the relationship in the friends zone, also better to friend zone than it is to be friend zoned.

I'm referring to it as in facing a "firing squad" because a girl won't look twice... Just keep moving on until you find a girl who looks more than twice. lol
