Men, is this a normal question for a guy to ask right after he kissed you for a first time?

Hi,

I'm a complete idiot when it comes to dating.

I had a first date with a guy I met on a dating app. We went for drinks.

It went well, we had a good conversation and loads in common.

In the end it was raining, we were hiding in a doorway, I called for a taxi. While we were waiting for it arrive he leaned in and kissed me. I kissed him back but then leaned back. He asked when it is ok to kiss to which I replied - "usually not on a first date. Until I get to know a person better"

He then immediately asked if I had a lot of dates from the OLD app.

He seemed to like me. I don't think this behaviour is bad per se but it was interesting WHY he would ask about how busy is my dating life immediately after I leaned back?

Any men here know why?

Don't think it's bad, just interested...

I am in my early 30s, he's in his late 30s
