What is the origin behind why guys, men, have always been expected to take the lead with women, why is the man meant to lead the woman?

or another way to put it, why is the man supposed to or meant to be the leader in the relationship? i never felt like a leader, i never knew how, it never came naturally to me.

And it pisses me off more that guys, men, are supposed to love and embrace this role, i will never get it.

i will always hate and resent this until the day i die, but unfortuneately, men will more than likely, always be stuck with this role whether they hate it or not

Men are bigger and stronger than women. Back in the past, in more primal times we protected and provided. Although times have changed and men aren't needed to protect and provide as much in this digital era where all of this infrastructure has been made, we are still generally seen as the dominant ones in the dynamic between and man and woman.

Yes it's true that not all men are natural leaders and some are born timid, but that doesn't change the general fact that most men are more dominant than most women.

I highly suspect it was not "nature designed it like so" but given, that women almost never make the first moves, men have figured "women never make the first move, so we'll do it". It's a bit of a false propaganda, that men "are supposed" to do everything but a well meant idea for proactivity overall. Yes, we do have to do everything ourselves because most women won't, are too lazy or too scared or leave everything to fate, god or a game of chance. Men generally don't think so.

It likely goes back to caveman days. A guy didn't ask, he just clubbed her over the head and drug her back to the cave.

I'm not advocating for that to be a thing again. And I'm not against equality. But women as a whole have confused equality with demanding all the good parts of equality while not accepting the bad parts. And this is why we find ourselves at where we are.

The sleepy guys will ALWAYS be the most aggressive. Why? Because they have nothing to lose. Women have chased away most good men leaving them what the have left to pick from.

And in YOUR case it sounds like the convinced you to permanently sit on the sideline.

GOOD Women are worth the effort! The problem is good women are in very short supply anymore. There is no reason whatsoever for a man to pursue an unworthy woman.

cause men are more stronger and more practical. women are more neurotic and emotional. that's why men are better to lead and women are better to care for the upbringing of children. nature is sexist like that. cause if both men and women could do all the exact same shit, why would there even be a need for different genders? everyone could just procreate with themself if that was the case. evolution is a chaotic but still logical process.

Because nature created men and women that way. That is not to say there aren't exceptions. There are more dominant women and more submissive men, and they are better off with each other, and that's totally fine. But for most people, man or women, it's natural for the man to be more dominant and the women to be less so. Fighting against that leads to failed relationships.
