I’d just love my life alone if they were the one or date someone else cause if they’re the only one for me they’d just end up dying or killing me from second hand smoke. I’ve had asthma as a kid and sensitive to smell. I make no exceptions or allowance for such things and I want someone sober minded actively present and able to cope naturally with processes instead of like chemicals or substances and placebos and whatever and on and on.

So neither. I’d just end up alone anyways if he died early. If he didn’t I’d still not want to be with him.

i could never find my other half in someone like that.

I even spent half my life til now trying to get my brother to quit and now he’s going to doctor appointments for complications. He never quit and before all of this I somewhat disowned him. He didn’t appreciate my tears for him to quit then, so why would he appreciate my tears at all? He wouldn’t deserve them if he died that way. So 🤷‍♀️ kinda just letting him ruin his own self at his own pace. Unless he listens to the doctors, but so far has never listened to logic.

I've dated both. Well. In my age range smoking is still quite common. I'm pretty thrilled at idea of a non smoker (I've never smoked). But ill accept a smoker. My hubby of 12 years smoked and mother was a heavy smoker all my life. Although she vapes now.

I've dated a "stoner" to for three years. He was a bad guy but not cos of the weed. My sisters husband was loverly guy and smoked weed in evening to chill.

I don't really like drugs in my home tho. Or smell of weed. But everyone seems to smoke weed these days. So... I think I'd prefer in the order None. Cigarettes. Weed. But order likely reversed in options.

Actually I'd date someone that smokes both. I was a pack a day smoker for about 30 years and most of my serious girlfriends weren't smokers at all. I figure if they could look past it, then who am I to not date a smoker. Plus you could possibly miss out on someone great, just because they smoke.

Cigarette smell and smoke I can not stand since I was a kid laying on couches at parties trapped in houses with non stop smoke and no open windows. Would never date a smoker.. but weed I can handle since I don't mind getting high once in a blue moon but isn't preferred.

Oh no, she works. She wakes up in the morning, that's blunt number one. She likes to have it in the back yard when the weather is nice, eats, goes to work. Has another when she gets home from work. Has the last one a few hours before bed.

I despise both but if I'm forced I'd have to take the weed one because it's less of an impact on my lungs.

I think they are both disgusting and a sign that a person does not take care of themself or have any self-respect.

On the other hand I do understand addiction and if they are attempting to stop I can still respect them.

The smell gives me panic attacks. When my boyfriend did smoked I would leave the room. I didn't want him to stop because it helped him with his anxiety. He decided to stop before our daughter was born

It is possible for a drug overdose to cause brain damage, specifically an opiate overdose. It’s not the usage of the drug itself that causes the brain damage, but rather the potential for the brain to experience a temporary loss of oxygen.

I never said long-term marijuana use can have no consequences to speak of, anything that alters your mental state can, especially when it comes to mental health. However, brain damage is not one of them.
