There’s no reason for him to it’s just bc he’s a guy. If people want to treat their partner that’s cool but the idea men should pay just to pay bc they are men is pretty gross to me esp considering it’s left over custom from when men literally “paid for their partners” bought them.

It’s simpler if people just pay for their stuff and treat each other through beautiful care towards one another. Or if you see a special thoughtful gift specific to your partner, ok. Or if your partner is form on their luck sure help them out I would…
