For guys: You’ve finished your first date with a girl and the bill for dinner is due. Do you pull out your card and pay in full? Do you ask to split?

Depends entirely on how the girl was throughout the date. Did she make it feel like a date or did she make it feel like she wanted a free meal. I'll pay for a date but if you want a free meal stay home and cook.

I have never been on a date, came close but I got stood up. All I ever hear about dating these days is women making posts about how they got a free meal and how they try and make the bill as high as they can, or women complaining about guys because they end up on a date with a guy who doesn't want to spend his hard earned money on a woman who is just trying to take advantage of his wallet. Calling him cheap for not wanting to be taken advantage of. I am so glad it's not possible for me to date.

If I asked her out, I pay. If she asked me she should pay. Bear that in mind, modern women, your date may not have money to pay for the date at the time you asked. If I ask you, I am prepared. Equal rights means equal responsibilities.

I steadfastly refuse to let her pay even one red cent of the bill, and aside from paying for this meal, if she has any other dates with other guys, hopefully she'll let me pay for those outings, as well.

I've always asked her out on the first date, which means I pay. I pull out my card (or cash). At that point, sometimes my first date has suggested we split the bill; most of the time though, I pay.

I pay, otherwise, it's not a date. Unless she asks me out. If I'm asking her out, I'm hosting so, it's up to me to pay. If she asks me out, she's hosting so, it's up to her to pay. If the guest wants to at least offer, that's fine.

That depends on what the understanding was, if there was one, before the date. My girl 'friend' and I always split the tab. Other than that, I would pay.

Oh, that's discussed before the date! 50/50. With that said I've found the first date shouldn't involve money at all. A nice walk and talk does just fine :)
