If a guy isn't a touhy/feely type person gives you a hug after a date does that mean he is interested?

On our previous date he said he wasn't a touchy/feely type guy. After the end date when he walked me to my door he said I am not a hugger but you Trump that. And then gave me a hug.

Girl, the fact that he admitted he's not usually into hugging but then gave you one anyway is definitely a good sign! It sounds like he was letting his guard down a bit with you.

Guys don't usually go out of their way to touch someone they're not feeling, you know? Even if it was just a little friendly hug, the fact that he broke his self-proclaimed "no hug" rule shows he must be feeling some sort of connection with you.

I'd say take it as a positive sign that he's interested in exploring things further. Obviously don't expect him to turn into a super cuddly PDA guy overnight if physical affection isn't his normal thing. But allowing that one special hug for you was his way of showing he had a good time and wants to see you again.

Pay attention to how he acts on any future dates too - does he find more little ways to gently touch your arm or small of your back? Those little unconscious displays of comfort and interest can say a lot. I'd say this hugging dude definitely likes ya!
