How do people (unknowingly) get involved with taken/married people?

I don’t want to be judgmental, but I don’t understand how this happens. I have a friend that was dating this guy for about a month and a half and she found out that she was in a relationship when she ran into him and his girlfriend while out and about?

The bible says the way of the unfaithful is hard. I believe treacherous and disloyal people have a harder time forming relationships with people and when they do form a relationship, the relationship is last satisfying and happy.
