I realize that when I’m PMSing my anxiety sky rockets which leads me to overthink and get highly suspicious of my boyfriend. It doesn’t help that I’ve been cheated on in the past, and my boyfriend has a history of lying… Please tell me that I’m not the only one 🥲

I kinda relate actually, but in a different way. I have chronic stress sometimes and for me its triggered by fatigue. If I am not doing well my mind will possibly seek a reason I am feeling that way and while the real reason is fatigue it might go to the last mental reason for me to fell that way which was my last breakup. So then I will feel as if I am dealing with breakup pain despite that just being an identical feeling to the physical fatigue / stress I am going trough in those moments.
So I assume what your feeling during your period is similar to how you felt around the time you got cheated on, hence the association.
“ It doesn’t help that I’ve been cheated on in the past, and my boyfriend has a history of lying… Please tell me that I’m not the only one ”
