Is it a good sign if a man gets more and more clingy the longer you date?

We both are always very drawn to each other and love sending time together and time apart is always awful for both of us.

But suddenly he started seeing me on days or wanting to see me (even surprising me!) on days we USUALLY always have had breaks from each other. I got really happy about it but I wonder how it suddenly changed that he didn't 'require' those days off anymore. He himself said he just missed me a lot. Even if we seen each other the morning the day before. (I miss him too every time we apart for sure) Is it a positive sign or is there another reason behind that behaviour?

Just don't be surprised if he pulls away from time to time. Space is necessary in order for attraction to exist.

I had a really clingy boyfriend before him. And I hated it from day 1. But with him I am happy it is increasing. So I don't know what could be worse 😭
