"You wouldn't understand since your not in the same tax bracket as me!" Anyone else find this statement demeaning? Help!! I definitely make less than he does but why does he feel the need to keep pointing it out? I work hard and am proud of my job, why does it feel like he's saying he's better than me... am I wrong for feeling less than by that statement?

Is a total fuckwit, intelligence and tax brackets do not really go hand in hand, just look at a professional footballer versus a Doctor. Anyone that needs to push how much they earn is really a red flag in a relationship,

Depends on the context of the comment. If he repeatedly says things like that then yeah, I'd say it's a problem.
