Here is a question: Which is better, to be rich or wealthy?

I have a friend who makes 10 times what I do. He rakes in the bucks. Then he suddenly is broke.
I, the slow steady turtle keep pace well ahead of my debts. Pay all my bills well ahead of time, even years in advance.
Wealth is the sustainability of your financial habits.

Very rich. My parents own 3 companies. All of them related to bike dealership and entrepreneurship. They are well known bike dealers of East India. However they have more plans for upcoming future and our business will expand way more once me and my sister are adults because we will also join and take some amount of ownership and become their buissness partner.

I used to be poor enough where my family and I barely had enough to eat and have a roof over our heads. Majority of my life was like that. We ain't rich now but we are comfortable where we can buy what we need and sometimes the unneeded things without fear

I Used to be as broke as in the picture below the rich. What a horrible nightmare that i couldn't wake up from.
Now i am (lower) middle class and i live with great infrastructure in Germany.
I want to be super rich like in the picture of the rich. I am childfree. I got dedication but not the right connections and instructions to become wealthy.

Pay attention how conventionally the rich are one and the poor are married with multiple kids and dog (s), that they barely can feed.

@Hispanic-Cool-Guy said it well, most people do not know what poor actually is. Go to the slums in Africa and then you get to see that most of us are actually doing pretty good. I am somewhere in the middle, enough money to buy my food, pay my bills and have a little bit left over to maybe go for a nice meal once or twice a month. I think I am doing okay.

I don't consider myself rich but I'm not poor either. I have a pretty comfortable life more comfortable than most people I know. I get to save part of my salary spend the rest and still manage to have around 500$ in my account by the time I get a new salary. I never spend my whole salary. but I don't consider myself rich.

I have my house paid off cars paid off boat paid off only have living expenses and don't have to worry with my 2 retirements, so I am happy so if that rich then so be it but money doesn't make you happy

I've been to the real Mexico, not Cancun or Puerto Vallarta. Besides the border in Juarez, I've been to central Mexico. Yes, many people are poor, but they are still happy. That's wut sucks about gringos. Gringos are all about material wealth and status. I had to take a shower the old fashioned way. Boil the water and go by the pond! But the people there are far more kind and easy to get along with than stuck up Americans. U don't have to speak Spanish either.

It's funny I did a web search on this one day. Because I consider myself "lower middle class". I come from a blue collar household. We all earned our money. But by every metric I checked my net worth defined me as "wealthy".

Closer to poor. I hate the Uber rich. What a waste of money and resources they are. And they ruin our economy. I can't picture myself being so rich, and buying useless overpriced "things".

I agree that the uber rich ruin the economy, but it's not because they buy useless overpriced things. If they bought more, their money would be circulating into other people's hands, but instead they stock up more money than they could ever use, and this wealth doing absolutely nothing is the problem
