Absolutely not. I think girls should be encouraged to approach men more often these days. I don't have issues approaching women and have more than a few times in my life, but every sex likes the feeling of being desired. I take a girl a lot more seriously when she's the one that initiates rather than me. It already clearly implies her interest and because of that I give her more attention than I would a girl I try to approach.

Most guys understand how difficult it is to approach someone and state your interest, so we empathize with women trying to approach us and if anything we value it a ton because it shows they also go against the norms of society. It literally makes our day if a girl approaches us (if she's attractive). Just being blunt, but just because a girl states her interest doesn't mean our standards go right out the window.

No. If someone, guy or girl, sees someone interesting, they should go make contact. It's not restricted to just guys.

No. And that's part of what is broken about the whole dating process. Most women today don't want to risk ANYTHING. I'm not saying women have to do the heavy lifting. I guy should probably do that. I think most guys want to do that. But most women never give them a reason to.
