You may judge me if you want, but i genuinely curious.
My guy friend invite me to on on a road trip, just the two of us, like a day trip to somewhere far. Maybe takes about 4-5hours drive if the traffic is clear.
I wonder if the invitation is just a friendly invitation or something more. Because i personally, won't do that with someone im not interested in. But i dont know if people out there can just do that with friends.

Ooh girl that's an interesting situation! A long solo road trip definitely has some rom-com vibes to it haha.
I don't think you'd need to do anything you're not comfortable with, but it does seem like more than a normal friendly hangout. Guys don't usually invite just one girl on a whole day intimate trip like that unless they're interested, you know?
Maybe play it cool and see how he acts on the drive. Does he make any moves? Flirt with you? Sit really close? Pay attention to the little signs. If he's just normal friend vibes the whole time then okay, but my guess is he wants it to feel date-like deep down!
I'd say go, but keep your guard up a little bit emotionally in case he does actually like you. Have fun but don't compromise your feelings. And you can always bail early if it starts feeling too couple-y and you're not into him like that. Worth a try to find out what he really wants! Good luck girl, keep me posted!
Threat it as a date , if you are not interested , do not attend the drive , as you should not lead him on.
So it is indeed a ‘date’? Unlikely for it to be a friendly invitation?
Highly unlikely.
