Should I invite my parents to my girlfriend's opera performance, even though they don't like opera?

Depends have they met her yet? If they don't like opera then softly invite them make sure they know that you invited them to be nice but don't expect them to go!

Maybe. I love classical music, but not much opera. Yet even if I do not particularly like that specific opera, it is completely different for me to see it performed live. I then enjoy it immensely.

I did record one of her performances on my phone and played it for them, they were nice about it but it wasn't their thing. Of course, they do like her as a person, so I thought maybe I should extend an invite.
