My girlfriend wants us to go see this movie. That isn't really my type of movies to see. She has been telling me that we should go. Should I or not?

Just go see it with her if she's excited about it. Pay close attention and, even if you don't like the film as a whole, find something specific to like and make a mental note of it. Then when it's over ask her if she enjoyed it. If she did, that's when you act enthusiastic and tell her the thing you liked. Now just sit back and watch her love-meter for you go up like 20-35%

Seriously, it's just a movie, it's not going to hurt you and people love when you show interest in things they like.

It's just 2 hours and 10 minutes. Just try to make sure that it's a one time thing and that you wouldn't have to watch it again with her if you really don't want to. But if you really don't want to watch it at all with her then make it clear to her about it.

U should just go for your girl, be a good boyfriend. And going on dates is a thing that should happen in a relationship, so therefore this would be a date. My boyfriend are with me to see lion and I cried like a baby such a sad movie... but anyways he wasn't a fan of it but he saw it with me cause I wanted to, that's love 😊

Well either compromise and "suck it up" to make her happy (she may have to sit through one of yours sometime to), and maybe you might like it more than you think you will? Or, straight up tell her and be honest about it that it's not your type of movie. She probably knows this already, but she's going to really be happy if you go anyway because she'll know you're doing it for her and it will mean a lot likely to her.

Well I see it two ways. You suck it up and watch the movie to make your girlfriend happy. If you really don't want to see it, have another female friend go with her so she not alone watching it.
