Nope. Not again. Sure I e been w a girl for 15 years now who was a single mother but it’s a lot to deal w. Seriously a lot. But by that time I had kids of my own, I wasn’t looking to have more kids of my own so I didn’t mind that she had kids. But I will say there was a lot of times we almost split up. For a man who doesn’t have kids himself, I’d say not to date a single mom. Unless you really want to. I’d recommend they get out there, meet someone who’s single, no kids, explore life together, travel, have fun, etc. Once you have kids, marriage, etc, a lot of that changes. Not impossible to still have fun, you just can’t always get up and go like you could before in the past when you two had no kids.

It really depends on her situation and I would probably at least date her to see how things go. If I felt like they were too close and I didn’t trust her, really if she’s “that” kind of a girl. I probably would just tell her I don’t think it’s working out.

I have dated a couple of single moms who weren’t too bad, but my general observation is that most have messed up situations.

I don't want a woman who already has kids. I want my own kids with her. Mother's should put their children first that's a good thing. It's bad for me though as a prospective partner because I'm going to be competing with her child for her attention, and it's not even my blood. It's a bad bet that I'm not interested in.
