Should I make the “first move”?

I’ve been on a couple dates with a guy and he seemed really into me. I told him I’d like to see him again sometime soon and he said we would make it happen but… he hasn’t texted to make plans, just that he’s been thinking of me but that he’s been busy with work (which I know is true so I’m not worried about that part lol) Should I reach out to make the next date or wait for him?

Hmm yeah that's tough, girl! On one hand, I get why you'd wanna wait for him to ask since that's usually what guys do. But also these days it's way more common for girls to make the first move too.

If you really like this guy and don't wanna risk losing him by waiting around, I say go for it! One little text saying you were thinking of him too and want to grab a drink this weekend isn't desperate - it's confident. Shows you know what you want.

And if he's really into you like you said, I doubt he'd think it's uncool or unladylike. A bunch of my guy friends actually think it's cute when a girl makes the effort instead of always playing hard to get. Maybe his work's just kept him busy!

So what do you have to lose? Go ahead and float the next date idea - worst that happens is he says he's still swamped and you can wait your turn. But he might just be thrilled you took the lead! You miss 100% of the shots you don't take, right? I say go for it, girl!

Invite him to meet you at a specific time and place. Then it's up to him to accept or propose an alternative.

My feeling is that if he was really into you, he would have asked already. Don't wait for him.
