Should single women withhold sex? As a movement. Wordwide?

I recently saw a woman saying this. About a movement of women reclaiming their power. It's always been said men hold key to relationships. Women key to sex. The shift in power has been created by the liberation of women to have sex freely (less risk and fears and prejudices than used to be). On the surface it seemed a case of well if men can do it why can't we? And I love sex. Don't get me wrong. But it seems like now men don't need to offer relationships cos they get all they need online and on hook up sites. Hell unlike days of old when at best they would have to pay for it... we are giving it away free. Online play should stop too.

Maybe we should do it. Maybe we should stand up and say enough. We like sex but we deserve to be wooed and charmed and respected too. And appreciated. And yeah not saying guys don't deserve same back. We should appreciate the guy that wanted to put the effort in. This isn't to punish or hurt them. But maybe women are largely to blame turning men into bigger jackasses (generally speaking not all. I know plenty of women are celibrate but even you must feel the frustration that that isn't appreciated cos a guy will not stick around and wait with all the other easy options).

I am not withholding anything. When it feels right I am going for it and no moment sooner. It never had anything to do with a movement or power. It was just about sparks, the energy between you and him. Don't withhold it if you actually want to, because if he is a great guy, some woman will do what you won't.

With the whole hookup culture they are more and more careful about who to pick. Tips are to only watch what they do, not what they say, always be persistent, be open and represent yourself accordingly because if you aren't what a great man likes, they'll just walk right past you.

I like the idea, but it will never happen because there are too many women who want sex too, and if one woman denies a man sex, he'll just move on and find one who won't. That's pretty much how it already works.

100% exactly. When I first read about it I liked the idea... but I too like sex too much and enjoy my casuals. And now I'm looking for more I kinda get it (so many low quality men now) but... so many women will be as I was with the casuals. Enjoying it and not looking at the bigger picture.

Even myself so I'm a total hypocrite. It's just a nice idea!!

Want sex with me? Loving you is not enoigh for me. You should earn sex by showing me how much I mean to you which is marriage.

Yes but do other women spoil this? I know it means a really special guy will be the one eventually for you. But maybe more guys would be special enough if their brains are nurtured right instead of being let loose in the candy store!

I mean, abstinence or celibacy is a choice. I've been practicing abstinence since I was a teenager and still am currently. But having it as a movement I'd be completely unsure of.

I think the idea circulates but enough of is love sex too much or think we don't want relationships so how does it hurt us or others to give it away? Why would we care about other women who want relationships anyways? And I'm talking like from my own self behaviour in this. I'm part of the problem.
