Have you ever done a long distance relationship if so how was it and do you recommend it at all?
So I’ve been talking to this girl sorta, to start I saw her on Ig I’m not usually the type to slide in the dms and well this girl has way more followers then me anyone who’s been on Ig knows that’s an uphill battle. This girl is partly so popular because of her beauty and she also has an onlyfans. So I took I joined her page when it was on sale to shoot my shot.
Long story short my plan might have paid off this girl recently told me she loved me which to be fair isn’t something new but prior to this she said it in Spanish which depending on the phrasing and who it’s being said to can be platonic. But this time she said it in English straight up. I haven’t asked her to be an official thing or anything like that yet partly because we live in entirely different countries. I’m here in the U. S she’s in Colombia
I know there might be some reservations given her career but one thing that stood out to me when I saw her page on ig first the first time is just how sweet and genuine she came off and I believed that even more after speaking and interacting with her. I’ve felt something for the first time in a long time talking to this girl especially one from the states … butterflies I get little butterflies in my tummy when I talk to her. That’s something I haven’t felt since I was in like middle school/high school it was genuinely such a weird sensation I hadn’t felt so long that I think I’d forgotten what it felt like to be in love.
Anyway I just want some advice on if anyone thinks I should go forward with her and if so how should I go about it?

I did a few times, some cheat, some can't handle the distance, some are actually good and enjoy the relationship but a lot like whenever you meet someone new, it's a roll of dice of how they would treat your relationship with them regardless of it being physical or long distance. But I usually like it more if we meet physically in the same country and have plans to move closer if the relationship is good.
But some do say the relationships that start off long distant tend to have a stronger emotional bond than ones that start off closer. Honestly I don't know who says it but I know it feels abit true for me lol
Interesting so it really seems 50/50 this would be my first long distance relationship if we choose to do it. So I’m iffy on how it would work especially since we’re both affectionate people, But man the emotional connection does feel strong I can’t lie.
That sounds good though especially if the emotional connection is strong between you two, and if you both have plans to stay together for a long time then I have a good feeling it may just be one of the best relationships.
Me and my girlfriend like to send gifts and hand written letters to eachother and also see movies together but also the usually daily and nightly communication makes it amazing especially helping to make eachother feel comfortable and open with eachother. Really helps too. But I have a good feeling it may go well for you I do hope it does
In my case I did a ldr for a year and he ended up cheating on me with someone closer to him. Then he basically was cold with me after. Your results may vary but it's hard to maintain.
Yeah I’ve never done a serious long distance relationship but cheating seems to alway be the general issue that lack big affection from being able to simply see each other is a big hurdle
Yeah, it was a hurdle for us, too. I was looking into ways to visit him before he did what he did. I'm glad I didn't go and do anything with him.
Of course not. What a pointless waste of time.
