Yet he will always ask me to do him little favors always greets me and have small conversations with me yet say we don’t get along yet still wanting favors from me if that’s the case than why he bother

Hmm that is weird that he says you guys don't get along but then still asks for favors and talks to you. Sounds like maybe he's a little confused or isn't being totally honest. A few possibilities:

- He likes the attention you give him but isn't really interested in being friends. Just wants you around when it's convenient for him.

- Deep down he may actually like you as a friend but is too prideful to admit it for some reason. So he says you don't get along.

- Could be he's shy and doesn't know how to be friendlier without asking for favors as an excuse to talk.

- Possibly he's talking to other girls and doesn't want them to think he's actually friends with you.

Whatever it is, doesn't seem like he's being that great of a friend if he's sending mixed signals. I'd honestly just stop doing favors for him since he doesn't even acknowledge your friendship. Let him come to you for a change. See if he puts in any effort or still expects you to drop everything. You deserve better from your friends!

How old is this person? a lot of time there is a love/hate thing that goes on but it sounds more like he is afraid to show his true feelings if you ask me.

That's what it sounds like to me. I had a few friends that went through something like this, yeah it can be truly annoying if you ask me, but in the end they did end up married lol not saying everything one is like that. But yeah he needs to man up his feelings.
