Since men almost always do the asking for dates, what is this?

In response to "who pays on a date" I keep seeing both genders answering "whoever does the asking", when unless they are from another planet, they know full well that men almost always do the asking and are expected to by women, who refuse to take the risk of rejection.

What's up with this ignorant, untrue response? Can't decide or won't admit that you think men should always pay? WHAT?

I got asked out literally less than 2 hours ago. She's taking me to dinner next week. Whenever I've dated, if she asks me out, she pays. If she doesn't we don't date and there is no fourth date with her. More times than not my first dates over the years have been paid for by women. Probably about 55%. I'm not someone's ATM. If she's too broke to pick up the tab then we don't have enough in common to be dating. She could come up with cheap dates if she were putting effort into it. She doesn't want to put effort into it, a half dozen women behind here will.

I for one ALWAYS intend on paying when i ask a woman out (about half the time she offers to pay) why do you think that is? Because I CHOOSE worthwhile women. These types of women KNOW there is no free ride. Yes, my paying is kind of an expectation, but not a law written in stone. Just like her being g polite and pleasant is kind of an expectation, but not a law written in stone.

Leave the women for streets in the streets. Get to know her a bit before asking her out and you'll have less of this problem. And if she's one of the women that put you on the clock when you meet her (you know the type a woman that in her mind says "he has to make a move in 2 weeks or I'm done with him"). Drop her FLAT! No QUALITY woman does that.

Right, this is the "vet them and you will have no problems" argument. It is impossible to do this is a reliable fashion, no matter how smart you think you are. All it takes is one mistake and you are in trouble. Ignoring them is much safer. If you need sexx, use prostitutes for a better, safer experience.

I hate accounting in relationships. If I ask a woman out, I am happy to pay for the date. After that it will depend on things like who asked and our relative incomes. If I'm paid considerably more than she is, then I will mostly pay for dates.

You are 100% correct. It's pure female hypocrisy and entitlement. It doesn't matter who asked whom, the woman should expect to, and offer to pay half on a first date. That is the way it is on more egalitarian societies such and Sweden and Norway, but women in the US are far behind and still clinging to ONLY the traditional gender roles that benefit women despite claiming to want equality. You are not wrong, but by not paying when expected to, are you dodging a bullet? Otherwise, this kind of thing extends to other activities and debts (like mortgage and car payments), and it never stops. Women are filled with entitlement and there are plenty of simps that cater to it.

I've always paid for the first two dates and then ask if she's cool with paying for the next one. If she balks or is uncomfortable or you notice a tone change, then you know you're the ATM machine in this equation, and you can move on.

Some of them are clever enough to hide it periodically. Not many, but still. I recall one who insisted on paying for the second and third dates, then later demanded I make her car payment while sitting at an expensive dinner.

I think that when women ask men out to have an almost 100% chance of acceptance. I think that many women do not do this because they feel they don't have to or because they are afraid of rejection. Men are afraid of rejection too, yet we find it within ourselves to do this. Although it makes most of us very uncomfortable. You might want to try it yourself. A few success experiences might make it nice for you.

Also, most women expect men to pay for dates. I think that this is unfair. Men. Almost always do the asking and since women frequently say that the asker pays that actually means the men always pay. That isn't fair. A lot of men resent it.

I’ve asked Outman before it’s still is very uncomfortable for me. It is not 100% successful no either they are taken. They play for the other team. They’re not interested. They are being nice just to be nice and nine times out of 10. They’re willing to sleep with you but not actually take you serious to be in a relationship or just really doesn’t go anywhere. I think you also have to think about why is it so taboo to women for a woman to ask out men in the first place and it all stems from back in the day when women were considered being fast or she’s promiscuous or doing too much or a pick me by asking a man out it was taboo and she’s so desperate for a man’s attention and some women still feel this way this day even I feel like I’m doing too much after a while of putting on the make up wearing too much revealing clothes or trying to be in certain spots just to get a male gaze or being out at a certain time all of these things a factor in the dating world it’s scary for everybody men included. They can’t be looked at as a certain way you have to not seem so scary. It’s a tricky gamecourtship doesn’t even look proper anymore so nowadays, everybody’s just scared to put themselves out there
