Why do some men give up on trying to have a relationship instead of enjoying the process?

Because of the way our society is today and social media filling our heads with nonsense that everyone is cheater and no one really values relationships anymore , in a sense it’s kind of true , social media definitely impacted the way relationships are today , people have sadly become more selfish and only really caring about themselves , if they meet someone that doesn’t match all their preferences they end it and move on to the next. If you wonder why your parents’ lasted a lot of years together happily married , it’s because they didn’t have the technology that we have today feeding their heads with temptations and garbage about relationships

Because now a days men are seen as oppressors or rapists who only care about getting into a woman's pants. We are taught that men don't want a genuine relationship and women take this to heart and would rather demonize men and focus on themselves. When men try to focus on themselves they're demonized and antagonize for not trying to find a woman. He is then considered an incel or a misogynist. 🤷🏻‍♂️ if you're a man you just can't win. Majority of men just don't care and want to find a woman who will make him misrsable anyway and pretend he is happy because it is what is still expected of him to do so.

I can only speak for myself. Generally it's lack of effort on her part. If we're at the beginning amd she's already phoning it in, or treating me like and option. Then it's NOT going to get better. It's best to just move on. ONE PERSON cannot sustain a relationship. One person, does not a relationship make.

They just want men pursuing them. I had a woman do this to me. I did walk away. But then she stalked me for two years afterwards trying to get my attention back.

The process is incredibly arduous these days and often difficult to enjoy.

If the process was more full of fun dates, friendly separations, and fun flings with casual sex here and there, as opposed to poor response to rejection, awkward texting over dating apps, and rampant ghosting, maybe id find it enjoyable, but sadly thats not the Case.
