Guys, Is weight the main factor as to a lot of guys don't like black women?

As a slim dark skinned black woman I never had an issue when it came to men. I've had lawyers, professors, physicians, engineers all interested in me, especially online and all these men were non black.

For me I don’t think it’s really weight. I mean yes to a point if she’s extremely obese like a Lizzo than no thank you. But for me it’s the attitude you see from a lot of black women. The disrespect in how they talk to men, especially their own man. Maybe it’s just social media portraying that, a stereo type but honestly stereo types are true for a reason. You see it in movies, in music. I work in the medical field. The black women that I work w other than one out of the 7 have attitudes. Not w just fellow employees but w patients in general. We had one the other night, was sent to another floor to work cause that often happens. Not more than 15 minutes later she came back. Got into it w the nurse who was in charge as well as the patient. A lot of times when the patient calls most of us go in, ask how can I help you. Many of the black nurses go in w an attitude, what do you want. There’s also nursing assistant who used to be on days, now she’s on nights. Can ever find her. When we do find her she’s on her “lunch” break for the 3rd time or she’s on her 15 minute break again. But they won’t fire her cause she always throws out the race issue. But anyway I’m rambling on. That’s just been my experience.

No, but that's certainly a factor for many men and many women - just not the primary factor.

The primary factor is femininity, or rather, the lack of femininity, among most modern black women today (and I'm speaking of western women here). And while this problem is CERTAINLY not limited to black women, there is no group that has had radical feminism more forcefully blasted at them by leftists (traditionally middle-to-upper-middle class white women) than black women. Black women have been trained to abandon femininity for masculinity, abandon families for careers, abandon nurturing for being girl-bosses, etc. And nearly no man wants that from any woman.

Clearly, if you are attracting men, especially across racial lines, you've embraced femininity (and thus rejected feminism) to at least some degree, and men have noticed. Your femininity is, by far, the biggest factor that makes you attractive to men (when you were younger, your youth was the biggest factor, though).

As someone who has dated a great many black women over the years, I saw this with respect, but a great many of them just can't keep up with me, physically. I lead an active life. I need a partner who can. If you're 80lbs overweight that's not going to happen.

I think also the pervasiveness of astrology and crystals that has grown in the black female community has hurt it. To be fair, far more white people are tripping on that, but per capita...

Same thing with "boss bitch" energy. When white folks do it we call it "being a Karen"... it's no sexier when you do it.

Now, the presence or absence (as appropriate) of those conditions, I think most men would date black women, but it's a numbers game, like so much in dating.

The thing is masculinity and femininity compliment eachother usually.


Black women who do embrace a feminine side don’t struggle with dating from all races.


But it seems black culture, way more than any other, pushes women to embrace a more brutish masculine appeal which doesn’t work on men.


So yeah weight is a part of it but its not a “balancing act” (no pun intended) of one’s scale.

Weight is a factor no matter what race the woman is. Guys who aren't fat usually don't go for fat girls unless they are looking for an easy lay.

There is a difference between a large or curvy woman and an overweight woman. So I don't see it as strictly a number on the scale. Attitude is also important.

From a guy's point of view most guys base women on their looks. If a woman is attractive they are interested.

It also has nothing to do with their profession or skin color. That is a personal preference. Also it doesn't really matter what the person does for a living the person can still be a dirtbag. My question for you have you ever went on a date with any of these people that show interest in you.

80% of black women are fat. A black woman who is fit and not ratchet can get with other races of men, but they are a minority.

Body shape is without question the first "screen" that MANY guys have for a girl. FAR more will screen out girls based on body shape than based on race.

I am a brown guy. I am attracted to hot black women too. I don't mind sleeping with black women and going down on her but I can't marry one. I have heard that black women are excellent in bed.
