Guys I’m almost 27 lmaoooo. But he’s insistent that he’s “mature”.
1 yProbably not. If he has to insist to you that he is "mature", then no. If he really is, he wouldn't see it as an issue to even mention. It would be rare to find a 20 year old guy at your same maturity level, unless you are an immature almost 26 year old woman.

I mentioned it not him.

I saw the "He's insistent that he's mature."

1 yWhat do you want? You are heading for 30 so if you want to settle down and marry some guy maybe have some kids then I would say no or maybe you just want some fun. A 20 year old guy won't be where you are in terms of maturity for another 15 years
28 Reply- 1 y
I want to get married and have children. I realise I’m heading to 30 LOL but that’s not a reflection of me.
- 1 y
If you want that maybe not waste time messing around with a 20 year old boy who's really just intrested in sex.
- 1 y
He said he’s serious about me but I can’t take a 20 year old seriously lol
- 1 y
@LostandFound__x
don't take him serious
he is just there for sex - 1 y
@QuietRunner well he’s gonna be disappointed to find out I’m a virgin lol
- 1 y
They are all serious until they get what they want.

1 yIt's your choice, not some random people on GaG. 7 year difference is not thst great. My father was 30 years older than my mother, they had a long happy 40 year marriage until he died.

1.3K opinions shared on Dating topic. Lol. That's hardly a very big age gap compared to if he was 20 and you were 37. You're both in the same age decade, might be a slight bit wide, but not too bad.

u 1 yYou should say "yes" only if you want to have a date with him. And if you do want to have the date, you shouldn't let the opinions of others overrule your own decision.
10 Reply 3.2K opinions shared on Dating topic. Why not take notice of your gut feeling, perhaps even your woman's intuition and go with that?
Nothing Ventured Nothing Gained!

@LostandFound__x
So, are you going to give it a go and meet him?

1 yAge isn't very important. At least not in women. I find that women my age and older are just as capable of the same high school immature bullshit that women 10 years younger than me are. Accept the date if the vibe is good.
The only difference is that when a 20 year old is telling me she doesn't know what she wants and can't handle my female coworker calling me; I'm expecting it. But when a 31 year old is doing the same thing, I cringe.

1 yDon't agree to date him yet, but agree to go out on a few dates and make sure you get to hang out with his friends too. That's the easiest way to find out if he really is mature.
14 Reply- 1 y
@your update I mean does he have a good job and will he be able to provide for you/do ife along side you? That's what matters more than age.
Personally though yes I'd feel weird dating someone 7 years older than me. - 1 y
Apparently yeah he does
- 1 y
I feel weird about it too
- 1 y
Gotcha
If it feels /too/ weird for you, don't do it.
1 yWell, are you interested in him and unattached? If so, say yes.
Why would it "not ok" to be speaking to a 20-year old? He's an adult, you're TALKING, not stalking, and HE approached YOU.
20 ReplyIf you think he is capable of being mature enough, give it a go! My grandparents were 9 years apart and happily married til death due them part (R. I. P.)

1 y20 age guy. Beware. Say no. I think that age gap is big.
10 Reply 1.5K opinions shared on Dating topic. No , he is after a mother figure , it will never end well , not a good idea , he is not mature , he is the opposite , and you'd look really silly.
00 ReplyHe's not that young. The age difference isn't that pronounced as it would be when, for instance, you were 21 and he 15.
You're both adults. No harm done.
00 Reply2.1K opinions shared on Dating topic. Definitely! Younger men are the best to date. They will treat you better than older men by a long shot. It's like they're actually grateful to be with you rather than bitter

But don’t expect him to pay for dinners all the time.

I’m a virgin 😂😂😂

Is that due to your culture? Lol
- 1 y
I’ve never been in the right relationship :(
- 1 y
As in marriage?
- 1 y
You’ll love it, sex is incredible
- 1 y
No just relationship in general! I’ve been in 3.
1) During Covid so we had to do long distance and he cheated on me (8 month relationship)
2) Very toxic but we did sexual stuff together (5 months)
3) He was a mamas boy (6 months)
Who was I supposed to sleep with out of them 😭 - 1 y
Lol sounds like you were close to doing it with #2
- 1 y
Yeahhhh he’s the furthest I’ve gone with anyone haha
- 1 y
You’ll get that experience eventually. I lost my virginity late so don’t feel bad about it
- 1 y
Thanks! Honestly teenage me would be so disappointed but it is what it is
- 1 y
I’ve dodged a lot of jerks so that’s good
- 1 y
Why would the teenage you be disappointed?
- 1 y
Because I was horny as a teenager didn’t think I’d make it until 26 as a virgin haha
- 1 y
That’s fair, I have been a horny man since I was 15 lmao I lost mine at 21 though. When the average is much younger.
Despite you being a horny teenager you shown to have some restraint. - 1 y
Yeahhh but it’s hard out here. Very hard. Especially when you’ve been close to it before and felt how amazing it is.
- 1 y
Well actual sex is where it’s at, don’t get me wrong I love foreplay, it’s crucial. But my favorite position for example is one that not only I enjoy doing. But every girl I’ve done it with absolutely loved it
