Women in your 20’s, would you date a guy your age who was divorced (no children, she cheated)?

As stated, together 6 years total. She cheated on a business trip. Tried marriage counseling but turned out she was still talking to this creep. Clean divorce. I’m now 26 and divorced. Just worried how women my age (24-28) would cure this history. Really not looking to date older etc and I have continued working with the counselor to not carry any of the baggage with me, honestly there isn’t much. I’ve got self respect, she betrayed me and I deserved better. Good riddance.

But I worry how dating looks going forward, if I’m damaged goods to girls my age etc.

I’m over 28 or male

I think most would not mind as long as you met their dating criteria. Most people have at least somewhat of a past by your age.

there's definitely a lot of things about her you didn't vet properly otherwise you wouldn't be in this situation.

you can play the most perfect game of chess ever but if you lose the game, you definitely made at least one mistake along the way.

now I'm ain't saying it's your fault you got cheated on but you ought to take some responsibility for choosing her in the first place.

Um.. why does this indicate different life experiences? How is this different than any other LTR that ends after 4 years?

Most people realize that the marriage commitment is larger than the non-marriage commitment, hence why they don't get married as quickly as they get into a lesser relationship. Your seeming unawareness of that just kinda shows how different our experiences are and why you ended up divorced in the first place

Yeah you're totally right. I'll bet is was totally random and the alcohol was the only thing that made her cheat. My mind is changed and now I would totally date a guy who has been in a bunch of failed relationships.
