I was waiting for 30 minutes, got all dressed up. Last minute, he blocked my number. No I’m not a catfish, he didn’t even see me, he just stood me up. I’m so closed to having a nervous breakdown

Did you meet him off the internet? If so, never meet someone off the internet until the can prove that they are who they truly say they are , I would never go on a date with a girl that couldn’t prove to me she is who she says she is , Video chat each other first before even attempting to go on a date with anyone off the internet , if someone is hesitant to prove who they are and makes excuses not to prove who they are , then they are talking out their ass and catfishing you.

He kept trying to FaceTime me when he was outside my front door, and I said I’m about to go on a date with you literally wait, I’ll see you in a minute and I guess he thought that was weird but I’ve been talking to him for months and he never wanted to talk in the phone or FaceTime before

By you not FaceTiming him scared him away , for all he knew you could have been a catfish pretending to be a girl. So I don’t blame him for standing you up because you couldn’t FaceTime him for a few seconds

He was outside my house I was literally opening the door, he’s clearly mentally ill and I sent him custom photos for a while. Literally photos he asked for, I would send them, so he knew I was real. Now photos I’m totally regretting

Ok that’s weird then , did he see you at all when you opened the door? Do you look the same as your pictures you showed him? I agree that’s disrespectful if he just walked away without an explanation as to why he changed his mind all of a sudden. The only thing I can think of is that you didn’t look like your pictures you sent him and he was turned off by that is my guess. But if you look just like your pictures then he is just a weirdo

He parked far away, and I was opening my door to walk down and meet him, like 1 minute walk and I was struggling to put on my shoes and everything so I don’t want to answer a FaceTime when I’m clearly annoyed and struggling and I’m about to see him in a minute. Like I feel like he was looking for any excuse to leave. And I gave him my address and he parked on the opposite side of the street like behind a tree at first and I’m like what? Then he’s like hurry!!! He didn’t even get to see me to see if I was a catfish that’s the thing

It sounds like he was paranoid especially if he parked away from your home. He might of assumed it was a set up and he took off

Yep, I agree. Wifey caught on that he was trying to cheat and he got in trouble. That, or he figured you weren’t an easy lay (someone he wanted for ‘shag o’clock,’ who’d oblige him); so he went to get sex elsewhere. Either way, you dodged a bullet and no, not all guys will do this. There are horrible men in the world; but there are good men, too. They just take a while, sometimes years to find. Until you meet someone you’d be proud to introduce to your loved ones as your partner, (or you suspect so).

I’d advise against hooking up. It will just hurt you, as it does most women. So what are you going to do now? If I were you, I’d order a Domino’s pizza with chicken tenders for the entree, Pepsi for the drink and a big chocolate lava cake. Have a cry, talk to your mum and enjoy your meal. Things will get better and feel better tomorrow. You’ll find someone better that you like or even love.

A date is a date & a date is a wonderful thing & as for me it saddens me to hear your date failed to show up & you got all dressed up for disappointment. As for your date he was probably a goofball anyway & look at it like he did you a favor because he wasn’t good enough for you & you deserve better. In life I always say if you never try you will never know & as for me I rather try & fail rather than not try at all.
