I don't believe so. I've always valued love over career. And if anything if you find a woman willing to be with you when you're at your low, that's much more valuable than a woman who's only willing to be with you at your best.

A lot of people believe you should focus on your own life first and get your finances in order, but I'm of the opposite belief.

i would say that absolutely depends on all the other aspects of that persons life. like do you have a job? do you have a place? do you have your shit at least largely figured out? then you can make it a high priority. otherwise, you should probably put it on the backburner.
