How to protect yourself from narcissistic person?

I can 100% confirm he is narcissistic, and everyone around me think the same thing too.

But i have a problem where i can't physically distance away from him due to our working nature. So whats the best other way to handle this situation?

I used to work with a woman like this. You have to condition them. You reinforce good behavior and you shun bad behavior. If they value you. You can train the narcissism out of them. If they don't, then it really doesn't matter. But you have to ALWAYS stay in control. Remember, they're NOT your friend. They're your project. And only they can make the choice whether they want to get better or not.

Oh, and FYI. The odds are NOT with you on this. The odds are you'll fail. But not because you didn't try or work at it. But simply because they didn't value you and didn't want to change. So either way don't take it personal.

Just don't eat up his shit, and don't be afraid to say no in general, usually narcissists try to manipulate people into doing what they want, if you say no, they don't have that power over you.
